Our Mission
The Student Alumni Meet (SAM) is SARC's premier outreach program. Conceived with the objective of building robust local networking environments, SAM sends student delegates from IIT Bombay directly to major regional cities to host physical meetups.
"SAM acts as a regional nexus where alumni from both the host cities and their nearby surrounding areas gather to meet current students and local peers."
SAM addresses a critical gap: establishing personal, high-quality touchpoints for alumni residing in host hubs as well as adjacent regions. Alumni travel to attend these local mixers to check in on key developments at the institute, coordinate peer networks, offer strategic mentorship, and interact directly with SARC student representatives.
